No one could have forseen the ship careening into the pylon. Hindsight 20/20 they would have been better off maintaining speed and not dropping the anchor and hoping they regained enough power to steer the hell out of the way, human instinct is to try and stop the ship at all costs. At least they have plausible deniability. They reduced speed from about 8.5 knots to 1.5 before striking the pylon. They will always have that.
100k tons x 1.5 knots = 27 million Joules
Roughly one 3 millionth of an atom bomb.

So as far as we know we largely have to rule out human error on the part of the crew. They appeared to behave rationally. There's also nothing wrong with the bridges design. 100,000 tons traveling at 1.5 knots is enough force to destroy virtually any structure not carved out of a mountain.
Thus we arrive at mechanical failure. The possibilities are sabotage or malfunction. Here's the case against sabotage: a Singaporean vessel bound for Sri Lanka is not a typical target. It's too obscure. Not the Twin Towers or Time's Square. It has to be ruled out. But there's even more evidence that it wasn't an act terrorism: the odds of that ship striking the Key Bridge pylon were infinitesimal. And it's clear that the ship was not intentionally heading towards it. It veers towards the pylon by happenstance with the rudder fixed and the turbine still spinning. It was a total accident. The last case for sabotage would have to be some last minute disgruntled employee type shit. Which seems unlikely but maybe somebody was having a bad day and lit a fire in the engine room. Kind of a weird way to sperg out though.
I'm going to take a different tack: mechanic failure due to lack of maintenance and oversight. I know this is more boring than the conspiracies but this is just like Boeing where bean counters see safety as as a cost center. No one wants to think about safety. It's boring. The ship makes it to the destination, cha-ching, rinse, repeat. We have actually seen lack of maintenance be a key issue in several maritime disasters recently. No one wants to spend to upkeep their boats!
These things take a beating on the high seas and over time they turn into rust buckets and no one gives a shit about fixing them. Usually when the fleet gets too old they just sell it to some second tier shipping company offshore and they get a once over and put back into service doing lesser runs. Again I'm sorry to bore everyone but this is the reason.

"It was a total accident"
A Chad detective would say nothing is never an accident.

I just feel like the state of the ship is still accountability of the owner, if anything was skirted and I hope every screw and bolt is turned then oversight should be punished accordingly. Bring the wrath of god on the ones asleep at the wheel.

According to retired ship captain Albin kruse, who has been posting on Twitter, the accident was the fault of the local coastal pilot, who made an error when she put the propeller in reverse, causing the stern to pivot to the left and the bow to pivot to the right hitting the bridge...Kruse says that she should have not done anything and simply allowed the ship to go forward and ground in the mud..
Bronze age pervert says that Scott locklin determined that the local coastal pilot at the time was Elizabeth christman, although the media has been able to keep her name out of the news so far..
the captain of the ship is some Ukrainian guy who of course was not at the controls because large ships like that have local coastal pilots while they are in shallow Waters.
All this stuff is being discussed on Twitter and best way to see it is to go to Albin Kruse's Twitter page and read the replies..

It's a well-known phenomenon called prop walk.

Furthermore as Captain Kruse's tweet replies make clear, the local pilot is always in control in US navigable Waters.. he says without a doubt it was the local pilot the coastal pilot who is at fault here..

its hilarious seeing how 60 IQ birdshits just blame DEI without reviewing any facts. just like how they recite "IQ studies" having no idea wtf they actually are abt for each country (many are 50 years ago and there's only one "study", others are just "estimates")
here u fags said DEI immediately just cause it was a singapore comp (as if Chinks are low IQ?) then when u heard it was an all turd crew u literally spit ur meth pipe out. and now its clear a local pilot is in charge so uve shifted to the gender angle
in the end there's a 90% chance it was a fat birdshit goy local pilot. then u will become silent and move on to ur next retarded bullshit (ie is the wife of prime minister of Liechtenstein really a muslim trannie?)
u birdshits are retarded, this is all sad behavior, there use to be a quest for knowledge in the US birdshit community, u use to drink from the waterfall of scholarship, u were vehicles on the highway of facts... now u are all like retarded 50 IQ dalits in some indian village spewing abt how some pakistani ghost raped ur pet goat last night

We are currently in a hot war with Russia where we’ve been openly attacking their billion dollar strategic gas pipelines and civilian bridge in crimea. They just had a few days ago a major terrorist attack on their soil which the US or its controlled-client Ukraine probably had a hand in, even if just to turn a blind eye to it. What exactly, under these circumstances, is so conspiratorial about believing it was a retaliatory attack? Wouldn’t this make much more sense then bombing some air base in Syria? It has caused 20 billion dollars in damages, hurt the government, and maintained plausible deniability?
Do people realize we are in a war? That the starting signal for that wasn’t hundreds of thousands of troops being sent across a front line, but rather assymmetrical hostile actions?
