There was a seat rest 3 inches from my face the entire flight and barely had any leg room. Tried to recline and dude behind me started kicking my seat, so I started reverse kicking the shit out of the bottom of my seat and he stopped. LOL. Jesus Christ I completely forgot I was even in first class, then I looked behind me at the back rows and it's like a freaking school bus with people spilling all over the aisles. WTF is this shit?

It varies a lot. AA, too. Sometimes it’s barely better than domestic economy; other times (AA Flagship, Delta One) it’s like international premium economy but way dirtier (like a toddler smudged all over everything) and a few things will be broken. Really have to look into which plane is serving the flight or teach your secretary or firm travel department to check this for you.

The only consistent one is JetBlue Mint.

All in all, domestic first is largely a waste if you’re not flying transcon.

Are you kidding? The extra space means you don't have another person on top of you. You never worry about overhead bin space. You're first to get off and you don't have to wait to get in your seat.

Even domestic first is the difference between "I hate flying" and "it's fine."

That stuff you mention is obviously good but it’s not worth the 4x price for First. My firm pays for first for all travel and I’m not going to turn it down, but it’s in no way worth it. I’m <6’ tbf.

I’m talking about the difference between the lie flat you get sometimes vs. the 1980s shit first class seats you get a lot of the time on Nashville to Phoenix or whatever.

Ur being retarded. Sure modern first is worse than Mad Men era first. But today marginal improvements matter a lot.

And if ur on a 40yo plane with shitty first, guess what, coach is even worse.

Anyone who disputes the firstmos in this thread don't fly much and/or are retarded.

I fly more than I’d like to. Usually transcon and get nice first (Delta One, AA Flagship, Mint) but sometimes it’s shitty old first and really disappointing—that’s all I’m saying. Of course it’s still way better but you have to be $$$ to pay 3-4x for it out of pocket. If firm or client pays, fuck yeah, but there’s a huge difference between nice domestic first and shitty domestic first and the price is pretty much the same.

It isn't 4x the price at all. IME it is usually 50% over economy premium and maybe double regular economy which is just completely miserable. A lot of times the difference is less than that. Personally, I just pay it and avoid dreading flying.

Let me put it this way - first class always has significantly more space than economy, so if the headrest ahead is all of 3 inches from his face then economy would be what, 0 space at all? Seems sus. And I flew Delta first class about a year ago and used to fly Delta all the time.

international or domestic? what aircraft?

i flown w them international last year on their older model lie flats and the seat was noticeably narrower than AA, united or latam. food was better than the others.

havent been on the delta one flagship suites yet.

domestic i think the big three's first is pretty equal. right now booking east coast to las vegas flight on a A321neo, its supposed to have these new seats

this guy really enjoyed them:

6-hour flight to Hawaii from LAX. Wasn't expecting to lay flat but there was more leg room in the old economy plus iirc. WiFi didn't work the entire flight but meal service was surprisingly not bad.

hint faggot: being "democratic" has nothign to do with this, the CCP is way more responsive to avg persons needs. UAE is famous for that. furking india actually requires domestic airlines to provide free bags and they have customer complaint hotlines and shit. US is total garbage controlled by jews who just want to steal money from goys

we got the delta one lay flat seats on our euro trip last year and they were 15 years old, there were no cubicle walls for privacy, the screen was still the regular small delta screen, and the seat control buttons were worn and chipped. it was very disappointing. the crew was on the spot with drink refills though.

Economy is inhumane. Especially the seats close enough to smell our dinners being served. They didn't even sell those boxed snack packs. Imagine those pour souls crammed into each other like sardines and munching on potato chips for 6 hours.
