Russia has already won in Syria. The mission was to save the Assad regime. The US's mission was to end it. Who is in charge of Syria right now, many years later?
As to Iraq, see Afghanistan above. The US had no plans to stay in Iraq, and the end result is that we were pushed out. Russia is never leaving Ukraine again. It will be annexed. |
