Uber rides are inherently kind of awkward to me for this reason… I’m usually getting an Uber because I’m either on vacation or a work trip in a different city or out drunk and having fun in my own city, and my driver is usually in a really shitty financial situation.

Her schedule was atrocious. She usually had scheduled flights, but also a couple times a month would have to take a suitcase to work for "stand by." This meant she sat in a room at the airport for hours and they placed her wherever they needed her to go. This could mean that she would be on a 3-6 hour leg and home that night, or a three days leg, and would not know when she left the house that day and always had to pack for multiple days on the road.

She had to cancel so many plans due to this shit, she was always a "little bit" sick (coughs, etc), constantly tired and run down. Constantly suspected she was being sexually harassed by pilots and always seemed to have other flight attendants being catty to her at work (presumbably because she was hot). Seemed like a shitty existence.

She ended it with me by coming to my place for dinner and telling me she was moving away in two weeks. I never even called or texted her again after that.
