I don't get this response (or the underlying argument you are responding to), the point of this thread is that there's abortion on the ballot, why would that cause people to stay home?
Regarding "switching the vote" - I don't agree with that either. People will vote on abortion and vote for President and it won't necessarily be consistent.
However, this will help drive up additional youth/dem turnout which will maybe help Biden by a point or so, so he'll "only" lose Florida by 5 points instead of 6. |

I was just responding to the idea that if voters are somehow unhappy with Republicans that they will instantly vote D is fallacious. The first thing that happens is that many stay home. I'm not implying that this is the case, but it isn't as simple as "x% will just flip their votes" - it doesn't work like that irl.
