Like it’s terrible of course but in this awful reality we live in could be much worse. I’m assuming the length of commute is due to traffic. You can’t drive anywhere in the Northeast corridor without factoring in Traffic, which everyone just pretends is a normal part of life for some reason. From the middle of the state, at least 2 hours in traffic to the heart of Manhattan. From where I am I can actually get to Manhattan in the same time I can get to Stamford because the roads here make no sense.
