They should probably just jack up their prices until demand levels out, but the services they offer are so necessary and demand likely so inflexible that they'd have to gouge the shit out you before it made a dent in demand, and then every customer would (rightly) be a whiny little bitch who's a pain in the ass to deal with.

I've been trying to get a water softener replaced, a tankles water heater installed, and some drywall repaired, and dudes are just clearly blowing me off. I had to fucking beg to get some dudes to take my $27K for a new HVAC system last year.

But it's really clear to me that if you took the intellect and business acumen it takes to be a low-six-figure lawyer and applied it to a trade, you could make way more money. had to practically beg for the quote I already paid for , made 1 call every 2 days (found out I would never have heard back) got a quote after calling them over and over, like 2 days later in my email, massively markedup , was just an invoice w the most barebones text next to it in a column, no idea how they arrived at any numbers, its so high theyre hoping i stfu or just pay up, this is after taking all the initative and forcing them to deal with me
