Apparently some environmental thing where all off Spain stopped cleaning seaweed to keep the beaches natural. Don't know if they have that shit in Barcelona or nice... they obviously clean it high season but did not see it before in the winter. Anyway, hotels in Majorca are cheaper than turkey now, in terms of cost comparable hotels probably go antalya>montenegro>Spain. Weird. Oh and places like qatar might have the best service for the price. My hotel filled with literally British old faggots and incels. Many of them rent it out to defray carrying costs and then have strangers farting in their beds, ramming their suitcases into the walls, drooling on their pillows, using their silverware, sitting in wet swimsuits on their couch, etc. |

I like cities like Milan or st petersburg... yeah it would be nice to make some $$ of rentals but with all the laws and nasty guests not worth it, which is why I can't afford to spend too much on it...
But as a counterexample I'm on vacation in Spain now and the "maintenance manager" told me I cannot use the pool without lifeguard on duty before breakfast or overnight. He said I can only use the sea before breakfast and he doesn't care if it has nasty seewed(I have to walk 3 miles to get to a cleaner beach) and he told me "I'm not your slave, this isn't england I can't get fired". |

But the beach now has red flag despite the water looking clean and calm. Apparently they dump sewage each time it rains and it rained yesterday.. beaches further from the city don't have that but they have lots of dead seaweed. And apparently they have waste washing ashore from the Arabic/african coast... so a city like nice or malaga wins just based on that.
