People import them from Europe now even though they aren't quite the same. They are good doggies but aren't gregarious like American goldens.
It's easier and cheaper to go to Puerto Rico and pick a dog you like off the beach. Just whatever dog you bond with or whatever. They are already well socialized with other dogs and with people. Look for whatever other traits you want and grab one or two. Whichever ones seem like they want to get in the car and seem to know how to read you. |
