"Kindly revert as soon as possible" - as in, 'please reply soon' to my email.

"Discuss about" - instead of simply 'discuss'

"Do one thing" - followed by a long list of multiple things to do. Indian phrase that is grammatically wrong, and has no meaning outside of Indian English.

"Do the needful" - Do what's necessary.

"Thank you for me calling you today."

"Prepone" - Taking the prefix pre\post and applying it to the word 'postpone'. So, prepone would be to move something sooner.

"Updation" - instead of just 'update' or instead of 'to be updated'. As well as generally adding the -tion suffix to alot of things.

"Take" - Often will say they are 'taking something' rather than 'doing something'. "Take a rest". "Take a meeting". "Take a backup".

Sometimes indians say they will "remove" something & they mean obtain "I need to remove licence" (get a licence) like they're crossing it off a list or something, I sort of enjoy it

"Updation" - instead of just 'update' or instead of 'to be updated'. As well as generally adding the -tion suffix to alot of things.

I knew a Chinese guy who would do this, referring to editing or edits as "your edition"

Is this also Indian? It happens a lot with Hispanics because in Spanish they say "dudas y comentarios" (doubts and comments) instead of "preguntas y comentarios" (questions and comments).

So they translate questions into 'doubts'.
