Traditional roles thrived in an infrastructure that no longer exists. Respect for the sanctity of a man's home, negligible government interference, government not acting like a husband, jobs for men to do and sustain a family, schools that taught things like home economics and other avenues for women to get lightly educated, and so much more. None of that exists now. Why would men think taking on traditionally gender roles would be a good idea. You're basically just agreeing to work while she fingers her cooch on OF.
