Girlfriend wants me to spend $30k MINIMUM on engagement ring

We went to Tiffany and they had this ring for about $30k. We started talking about it and apparently she thinks this is a good minimum to spend. I really know nothing about this.

I've been on the phone with her for a while, talking about this ring business. Apparently, she is willing to come down to $25k, assuming the ring is at least 2.5 carats.
I told her $30k is too much and she accused me of not loving her. I told her that I do love her and want to marry her and if I need to buy that ring to show her than I will.
Is $25k unreasonable? Is she being unreasonable? |
