Somewhere there is a tape of a farting contest we did during my Beavis and Butthead years. We all had stage names. I recorded a lot of music off radio. FM stereo was not around yet and even stereo records were scarce. I only had a single track system. Two speeds selected by manually changing a capstan. All vacuum tubes of course. It was the only way to record sound. The only audio media were vinyl and tape.
