Are most Moroccans thieves? I met a Moroccan woman

When we learned to say 'Moroccan' in that language, she shared that being called a Moroccan was considered an insult, as it meant that you were a thieve.
She proceeded to steal classmates' turns when the language instructor would call on them, and she used the 20-minute break that was meant for us to socialize and network, to showcase the products she was selling.
Has anyone met Moroccans and do you know if they are truly thieves?
