my doctor and a therapist suggested meditating to manage stress, so i found a meditation group that meditates daily in the morning. it was relaxing at first, but then i was forcing it into my daily schedule. i couldn't just take a morning off because i needed my stress relief. i didn't want to miss a session because i thought i'd have a horrible day.
i do cardio every single day for health reasons. i started out slow but built it up to an hour, where i'm drenched with sweat and exhausted at the end of the workout. i feel worse after the workout than before. taking days off makes me anxious. one time i went about five months without a single day off.
my diet is healthy but boring, but i'm obsessed about eating healthy. so if i'm bored of my diet and decide to eat something tasty, it makes me anxious because it's probably unhealthy food.
the pattern repeats in basically any habit i try to pick up. i'm clearly anxious as fuck. how can i keep healthy habits healthy instead of doing them compulsively?

Try hanging out with Jocks. some of their anxiety-less-ness will rub off on you if it's the least bit possible to influence you. On the other hand, if you spend all your time Alone or around neurotic fags, the anxiety might compound on itself. Instead of running Alone, join a Running Club or something, but ONLY if you can find one that isn't all Losers.
If you're scared of dying or being Ruined, just buy life insurance or something. Or buy Puts.
