Pretty much the only band from the 60s that feels like they have continuing pop culture resonance and are as big today even with the Youth as they were 20-30 years ago. They are apparently like #64 on the Spotify all time streams list with 2x as many as the Stones. 68 for daily streams. their peers from the 60s all trail by pretty large margins. Interesting case.

Most boomers were quite young for the height of Beatlemania and by the late 60s the Beatles were basically just viewed as another (good) band by the boomers.

The songwriting catalogue has endured and been rediscovered by later generations while the other bands kinda all sound the same (except The Beach Boys who def were their own unique thing at all times)
