State inheritance and expected age.

I expect to inherit about $20 million at age 45 or so.

80 acres of unspoiled land and about $2m in cash/stocks. I should get these when my parents croak. I survived all of my siblings so everything should come to me and my kids.

Likely north of $100 million sometime in my 70s or later. Just in time for it to be of no use at all. I’ll immediately start pushing it down to my boys and any grandkids.

My wife is going to inherit around $500k when my mother-in-law dies, which is probably any time now. She is in her 80's and her health isn't great. I'm probably going to inherit 7 figures when my parents die, but that most likely won't be for a while. They are in their early 70's, and all my grandparents made it to 90+ (two made it to almost 100). Most likely I will be too old to do much with it by the time they actually kick the bucket.

Maybe 20k. Parents split young. One is already dead and had $0 to distribute. The second has little to no savings and lives on a private company pension.

Little if anything. Both of my parents are immigrants without college degrees who've done low-wage manual labor their entire lives. More likely that I'll be supporting them financially in their last years.

I don't understand the confusion, either. They barely have any money because they've worked shit jobs their entire lives. No 401ks or pensions, and Social Security payments will be barely above poverty levels. So it's either they work until they're dead, or my brother and I support them so they're not working beyond their mid 60s.

Around $10m altogether. Older parents who had me old, so sadly not far off. Would much rather pay for more time with dad.

No idea but probably >$1m to zero depending on if they blow it all on long-term care or fall for a scam.
