It’s experiencing a renaissance of sorts while the ps1 languishes and fades in memory. But if you think there’s a “god” to be seen in Xenogears or any JRPG (other than the final bosses, who are often more like Demons than gods) then I’ve got a bridge and 12 cartridges to sell you (containing the data of one JRPG). And if you’re just a JRPG guy pointing out my errors then please, by all means, elucidate. If you’re seeing something I’ve missed in 20+ Annual playthroughs then I’m all ears. And I say this as someone who’s played in the original Japanese. |
