The reason you see them on the moon but not here is because there is no EROSION on the moon. If you make a footprint in the moon surface, it just stays there. No wind blows over it.
This is also why moon dust is extremely hazardous. It's composed of tiny shards that formed when other objects collided with the moon, and it's full of microscopic slivers of glass. That's what happens when u don't have an atmosphere. |
