What is the Mayor supposed to do to satisfy some folks. Is he supposed to patrol the streets personally? I'd like to know what do want him to do, stop crime from happening

He's not a magician, he cannot skirt the law or circumvent the law to make other groups satisfied. The attacks on Asians are horrific, as it for other groups. The police are patrolling areas, homeless coalitions are out in the streets. Perhaps we need more civilian patrol groups who work with the police to reduce crime. This is crime is horrible, I can understand the community anger and fear at elected officials dragging the Mayor makes no sense since he's doing all he can do. That's all I'm saying

Oh, what, the mayor doesn't possess a magic wand that fixes our the twin crises of inadequate mental health care and racism? Huh. I wonder why voters expected some guy from NJ to be able to do anything about either one.
