It's a step forward in a very very American lane of progress and it's also not all that hard to like sincere prole kitsch if your heart works well enough The Buccee beaver is like an Ilya Repin treatment of Mickey Mouse imo |

Maybe the media made around it trends more towards the ironic but in general there's sincere appreciation of what convenience/utility/comfort it adds to customer lives especially vis a vis what came before it One thing about those millennials wearing Bucee t-shirts: you'll notice they're never hard to approach or talk to. Usually very friendly and open people. Bucee the Beaver is anti-elite, Marian-coded, and welcomes all beneath the bronze arch of his prominent beaver tail |
