rating you as the Beijing mango cult. in the 1960's, Pakistan sent Mao some mangos and he didn't like mangos, but he didn't want to waste them, so he ordered them to be distributed to local workers.
a cult venerating mangos as a divine fruit of socialist immortality quickly spawned around the mangos. pilgrims came from other towns to celebrate the mango. dissenters against the mango were executed by lynch mobs. mango art and iconography was built
mao was unaware of this development

rating you as the curious story of Soka Gakkai, which was a relatively obscure buddhist sect until World War II. In the 2nd world war, most Buddhist sects supported Japanese imperialism, calling it a "holy war". Soka Gakkai dissented and many of their leader were sent to jail.
After WWII, they ended up seeming prescient and their popularity exploded. Eventually, SG affiliates founded the Komeito party, a Buddhist-orientated party that seized 10% of the vote
After the collapse of the Japanese party system in 1990's, the Japanese conservative establishment cut a deal with Komeito - and since then, they've been totally dependent on them for their majorities.
This has preserved conservative majorities and guaranteed both Buddhist-friendly policies, as well permanently putting a damper on attempts by right-wingers to remilitarize Japan (due to their pacifist, antiwar stance). Coincidentally, Komeito has one of the most gender skewed voter profiles in the world - almost 80% of their voters are women.

rating you as the surprisingly LOW death toll of the Mongol conquest of the Song
historians have generally revised their previous estimate that 50% of China died in the mongol conquests - the actual numbers are thought to be much lower because the Mongols essentially conquered China with most of its economic capacity intact (unlike say nearby persia, which got wrecked)
the general explanation for why the first post-Mongol census was incredibly low and how population bounced back almost immediately was that a huge swath of China simply falsely claimed to be dead so that they would not have to pay taxes and when tax auditors actually arrived as Mongol governance improved, the "population" boomed
