I have always enjoyed reading poasts especially that display high information density in so called broken or inelegant English. Conversely, those editors who nitpick and fuss over tiny matters of style or idiom in their comments, while not saying much of any great value annoy me because I'd rather my mind were impressed by the substance of an idea than its vehicle. As far as the co-worker unwilling to make substantive revisions to her teammate's draft, she may simply not possess the skills to do so, or she may be unwilling to stick her neck out for job security reasons.
