In our Trader Joe's they have a little stuffed animal named "Angel" and every morning someone with sleeves of tattoos, nose rings and/or ear gauges, will "hide" Angel somewhere in the store, coincidentally over some shitty selling product.
If you find Angel, you get a lollipop or stickers when you tell the cashier.
So today Angel was over the Trader Joe's Oreo-style cookies. My mixed son saw Angel, pointed him out and then said he wanted the cookies.
I looked at them. They were called "creme filled cookies" or some shit. It was a relatively small bag, some weird winter scene on the front of the bag, and what looked like oreos.
I said, "These look like Oreos, you want them?"
"Yeah, Oreos!" said my mixed son excitedly.
I look at the bag again more closely.
"I don't know, buddy, I'm not sure these are going to taste like Oreos."
A Trader Joe's employee was stocking the shelves next to me.
"They don't taste like Oreos," he said, "I was disappointed."
"See, toldya buddy, let's go."
I thanked the cool Trader Joe's bro for the heads up.
And that is the end of my mixed son Trader Joe's story.

I'm mixed European with 1% Ethiopian and .1% or less of Jew. So basically 99% European.
My black wife is 70% African (mixed Western and eastern) and 30% European.
Rounding me up to 100% European, that leaves my mixed kids 65% European (white) and 35% African (black).
I'm really high so not sure if I did that math right but its something like that.
