Its all safe enough, nobody bothers foreigners except maybe cops looking for a buck or two (but i mever got asked for bribes by cops even except at the border). I took buses across Togo and Benin, staying a day in each, then made it to Lagos. Stayed as a couchsurfer with a Nigerian dude and his GF in Somolu. Very chill. Really I just walked around and went to the markets in Lekki and Lagos Island. My host's GF made us a traditional Nigerian stew, it was great. Went to the Fela Kuti Museum. The walkway at the Lekki Conservation Centre looks cool but I didnt do that.
