But with that said, this was an inadvertently Proustian poast on your part because it took me back to those gorgeous days of watching French new wave movies, among other cultural artifacts, with lovable art hoe girlfriends…

…somehow I think I missed his movies, but then again he also sounds like someone that would come up in a stream of consciousness Diving Bell and the Butterfly passage: and now I’m feeling really old because I still remember going to see that gorgeous movie adaptation with my sisters circa 2007…

(I really liked it back there, to be honest, yet all places and times have some kind of soul proving potential, mercifully… though admittedly being diapered in daily life was optional in those days, but absolutely essential as a readily equipable Ocarina item of +180 equanimity, against all odds, in AD “2025”)

Any of his you recommend?

My favorites are Bay of Angels and The Young Girls of Rochefort. I think Umbrellas of Cherbourg is the most famous and tend to be the one most people start with.

928383838747838377477383874382738388374, tyvm for this cultural wisdom to start my week off on a good note. Bay of Angels sounds like how I think of Autoadmit, The Young Girls of Rochefort sounds like a long lost Proust coming of age story, and I initially mistook Umbrellas of Cherbourg as something East Asian while reading on my phone, which is also quite reminiscent of this mysteriously evocative online salon of ours…

(Funny enough, those kinds of semi-comical associations always help me on the memory palace front, as do endless amounts of Notes to jog my memory when my lysergic mind fails in any semblance of total recall)
