This is what I am thinking
-Albuquerque (Breaking Bad, Nat'l Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Old Town)
- Alamogordo (Museum of Space History)
- White Sands Nat'l Monument
- Roswell (UFO Museum, Walker Aviation Museum)
- Carlsbad Cavern
- Billy The Kid Museum
- Santa Fe (Downtown)
- Bandalier
- Los Alamos
- Taos Ski
All generally one direction of travel ABQ-Roswell-Santa Fe-Taos.

madrid is a cool artsy abandoned mining town between santa fe and abq. jimez hot springs outside of santa fe are cool too. ten thousand waves in santa fe is 180. acoma pueblo is on your way in, definitely worth checking out.
southeastern new mexico might be the ugliest place on earth, not sure why you're bothering with it but whatever. white sands is 180 but that's quite a diversion from ABQ/santa fe, about 4 hours. if you're going to do it stop in hatch and get a burger at sparkys. also ruidoso is a lovely little mountain town not far from white sands. but i'd head back north after that, roswell and carlsbad are total shitholes.

santa fe, make reservations in advance for the shed, order the green chili stew, you’re welcome
gila cave dwellings, but you’ll see something similar in bandalier. the most interesting ones are off grid
vla will be too out of your way
abandoned nike silos, but someone would have to show you where they are
don’t buy hatttch chilis, the best are from lemitar
the bridge past taos that was featured in natural born killers is pretty impressive, my land is around there
epstein’s estate is accessible if you know the right people, it’s a little south east of santa fe if i recall correctly
there are several natural graveyards that you might be able to see a body decomposing, 180 if you’ve never seen something like that before
there are countless old mines but you’d die if you went into one. plenty of abandoned little towns with obscure history (eg last hanging in the state) that are cool to poke around in (carry a gun, though, just in case)
there’s a lot of kooky occult stuff up in the 4 corners area but that’s really dependent on their wiccan calendars and you’d need a guide to sneak you around to watch it

Hatch is the cr imo. You can buy highest quality peppers and related stuff. Top notch you can smell 🌶 like 20 miles away.
Southern nm is highly underrated imo. It's a whole different universe and worth exploring. Bisbee AZ is also chill and Tucson is great. This is not NM but it's the same vibe.

it would be insane to go to roswell and not go to carlsbad caverns and if you're at carlsbad caverns it's not far to guadalupe mountains
white sands is 180
taos is 180
i've always wanted to see shiprock

if you are with a woman take them to Chokola in Taos they will love it
Also I've never been to Taos Pueblo but it's supposedly the longest continually inhabited place in North America
Rio Grande gorge bridge is pretty cool
Arroyo Seco is a quirky little town outside of Taos

I'm going to TSV here soon; what weekend you there?
I'm also having trouble understanding your itinerary; you know that roswell is nowhere near ABQ/SF, right? I assume you're flying into El Paso/Midland and are going to work your way up to ABQ then SF? The southeast part of the state is not what I'd choose to see as it largely resembles west texas, although carlsbad caverns and white sands are cool.
