option 1, stack money for 7-8 years and retire completely
400k is good, but you'd have to work for much longer. 800k is enough that you could stack like $300k a year if you were somewhat frugal.

I currently work more for way less.
That being said, the $400k option would work best for me in this season of life.
If I were a younger man in my 20s or 30s? The $800k and and longer hours ofs.
