I saw 3.35 today. I think the banks will try to get as much as possible before the rate hike in March. It’s also an underdiscussed aspect of this issue that the last time high interest rates fucked up the economy there were way fewer lenders competing and there wasn’t an internet to make it so easy to find the cheapest option. The power imbalance for borrowers just isn’t as bad.
