One of the most tedious things about work actually is the expectation of eating all the time, too. Like they’ll have a breakfast (I don’t eat breakfast), and then they’ll have a lunch (and I usually don’t eat at that time either), and then they’ll have a dinner that goes to 1030 or 1100 and the expectation will be that you drink booze (and I don’t drink). But restaurants themselves are all flame. I don’t know the last time I had a good meal anywhere or actually enjoyed myself at a restaurant. |
