when i was split from my wife and living with my mistress from late 2020-early 2022, i barely did any work at all. i was a partner in biglaw at the time and nobody knew what i was up to since we were on lockdown (and we all traveled all the time as it was, so we never saw each other). i billed like 1400-1600 per year, but i actually worked maybe 500 hours each year and that's being generous. none of the clients ever said anything lmao.
