When I was growing up in a wealthy enclave no one ever went to Saint Barths. It seems like it blew up over time. People went to Florida all the time, shit people went to Africa and shit back in the day. I remember Aruba being a big deal. But I never heard of St Barths before 2015 or so and now I see people with hats and apparel it seems like every day. So I definitely think there's been an explosion of people just trying to gtfo of Manhattan on a grander scale than in the past.
