It's like shining sunlight through a magnifying glass to fry ants, but it's powerful enough to set a building on fire. My friend copped one of these at some kind of thrift sale, and he had to store it covered up in his house, because if the sun came through the window at the wrong angle the sunlight could pass through the lens and start a fire.
