Focused nonstop on high transmissibility of Omicron (misleading without context on virulence) Then moved to the pitch for the booster. Claimed for those with booster most won’t get it at all and the rest will have mild symptoms (misleading given how Delta went). Then claimed for the unvaxxed Omicron is deadly, will cause a lot of hospitalizations and “a lot of people are going to die from this” (outright lie). Even Gail King who is super shitlib and a COVID hysteric pushed back and asked about breakthrough infection for those with the booster. The SG clearly couldn’t answer that well and just delivered a non sequitur talk off about how the booster is the best defense available and will dramatically reduce hospitalization and death (so tacitly retreated on the idea that it stops the spread at all).
These people know Omicron is less virulent. It’s plain as day. Their obfuscation is pure evil and there is an agenda behind it. There’s no other way to explain why the Surgeon General wouldn’t be aware of and focusing on the virulence statistics. And it’s not a wild conspiracy theory to say it. |
