i actually disagree somewhat with your statement. some things are just objectively bad/good imo, if for no other reason than staying power. i think even if you don't like the beatles or the stones or madonna you'd have to admit they're objectively good because stuff they wrote 30-60 years ago is still listened to now. mark twain and edgar allan poe - also objectively good, even if you don't like them. same with charles dickens (i can't read his boring faggotry but he's good). |
