i'm not too bad all things considered. i had surgery for a pretty random self-inflicted injury recently, so i've been putting up with the inconvenience of that. it's just lame timing because the one thing i missed most all throughout covid was the shows. this is by far the longest i've gone without seeing live music since i started, and now that tours are happening again i might have to hang back for a while until i get the 'all clear' to jump in the pit.
it's funny how many people come sniffing around for your painkillers when something like this happens. and not necessarily those you'd ever suspect.
