Most big budget movies getting greenlit now are surefire hits like capeshit or from A list directors. But there is also collusion among studios to promote woke stuff, and the threat of black listing any actors or crew who work for someone outside the program.
If it was all about money, studios would be scrambling to give Mel Gibson millions to make Christian movies like Passion of the Christ.
