Now with Twitter, it's almost like ShareBlue talking points for Republicans where Elon and Trump team members can turn all conservatives against other Republicans who step out of line. It's like the Liz Cheney situation on steroids where any minor action that goes against Trump will get you primaried and voted out of office.
I criticize the Democrats heavily for having to march in lockstep with the party line, so it might seem hypocritical to support this. But Trump campaigned on draining the swamp, and he didn't single out Democrats. This is exactly what draining the swamp would look like: they fight you tooth and nail your first term, then lie, cheat, attempt assassination, etc. to prevent a second term, when that fails they try the same strategy of surreptitiously kneecapping you every chance they get. But now it's like they're being whipped into submission and there's nothing they can do but cry about Elon |
