With these actions you lose 50% of Democrats and 25% of GOP who care about free speech, cancer research, or basic fairness.

If you want to defeat the universities then tax their endowments. Set up a bill of rights where students can report professors for teaching political content in non-political classes. Make them publicly disclose their admissions data so that we get more great content like them saying Asian kids have no personality.

The actions now remind me of when DeSantis targeted Disney - which played a big role in his fall. People don't like it whe the government is perceived as picking a fight - especially here when its kids who the collateral damage.
