I'm thinking of switching jobs and new hospital might be OK with 1099 where they pay a little more instead of giving me w2 benefits(health, 20k 401k match). It would make no sense to do 1099 for most intents. But for Puerto Rico I could open a solo corp, Pay myself 1/2 salary as w2. And the rest would be taxed at 4%. And any stocks also taxed at 0%. But requires yearly donation to Puerto Rico charity and actually buying real estate in Puerto rico

you should figure out life in general and focusing on this kind of stuff is not the right way to do so.

You have to actually live there +183 days per year while commuting back to some hospital stateside? And hope that whatever state you’re operating in doesn’t take a dim view of your not filing a state tax return? IRS audits are off the table, probably, for a time. But that won’t last forever and you’ll have 3-7 years of returns on the table if you get popped. Will you keep enough liquid to cover the potential liability? Or will you have blown through it all and potentially upset your finances at a time when you should be thinking about retirement?

Correct. Irwin Schiff's son, Peter Schiff, moved to Puerto Rico to do this out of principle.

Didn’t they both go to jail for tax protestor / tax evasion nonsense? That’s definitely who you want to emulate when it comes to financial planning!

I could move there and work remotely. But I have doubts that it would actually cut income tax that much after all the expenses. They definitely offer 0% on stock trading..
