Took my Laptop to NIGGA repair shop in NIGGA Africa today, hilarity ensued

I also asks then niggas for prices of the laptops on display which have no price listed..she says she has no price list she wld have to pull up the invoice for each one and check manually.

If a shop can't or won't perform basic voltage and continuity checks, they may just be guessing which part is bad.
Some shops will quickly say "the motherboard is dead" or recommend replacing parts without confirming the fault.
A competent board-level repair technician should be comfortable checking:
Charger voltage
DC input voltage
Fuses
Power rails
Shorts to ground
I likely suggested:
Don't authorize expensive repairs until they've demonstrated a proper diagnosis.
If they can't explain what's failed or don't use basic test equipment, get a second opinion from a shop that specializes in motherboard repair.
