As far as the city dwellers, pretty soon it will be warm again and their lives will seem easy in comparison. In the meantime, it makes no strategic difference whether they are cold or not- war production gets first dibs on the generators, etc.
It will never get any better than this for the Russian energy campaign because of the coldest winter in a decade. And even this doesn't come close to the apocalyptic Russian predictions of Kiev being made unlivable, shit in the streets, mass emigration, etc. |
