they're not even religious and likely haven't attended synagogue in decades, but they'll take off a few days before Passover or their kid's Bar Mitzvah because they "need to prepare for it" -- and my company has a policy of excusing absences on religious holidays, so they know exactly what they're doing. no supervisor wants to call that out and get hit with a discrimination suit or HR talk. the muzzies have started pulling the same shit with Ramadan. But no Christian dares skip work on Good Friday.
