Date: August 12th, 2026 6:08 PM Author: artificial diaperintelligence polling in NI has been trending towards unification and it's up to them—they vote and ireland will go along with them. however the UK has to call a referendum first. this doesn't happen partly bc the UK ignores NI but also because they're afraid of sparking sectarianism. but if sectarianism got phased out in favor of racism that'd stop being true.
I see a route to this happening where extremist groups could play a productive role, but they could also blow it for everyone if they do things wrong. |
