Date: January 29th, 2022 3:38 PM Author: histrionic overrated school cafeteria a year ago i thought people who believed in this were insane people who should be locked up. when i actually looked at the evidence they presented i realized that not only did it make intuitive and logical sense, but all the arguments for a globe - outside of fake NASA cgi videos - was complete bullshit. this is a hard redpill for people to swallow because the media has conditioned people to think of flat earthers as the ultimate conspiracy nutjobs. i've come to realize that they did the same thing with vaccines where for the last decade they painted anyone who questioned vaccines as an insane nutjob (of course this was all to lay the astroturf for NPCs to be afraid to say no to the pfe/mrna clotshot). same thing is happening with flat earth, but the implications are way more important.
if you believe the earth is a globe, we're just cosmic accidents floating through the universe just like quadrillions of others - without god, purpose or meaning
if you believe the earth is a flat, stationary, enclosed system, then you realize that god is real, the firmament is real, everything *literally* revolves around us. our place in the universe is not an accident, it *is* the universe.

nowadays 99% of "flying" is completely automated, so pilots assume that the plane is automatically descending on its own.
what's incredible is you can do your own observational experiments to see the lack of curvature. for instance, you can see chicago from canada across one of the great lakes. but if you do the math, if there was curvature chicago would be 1,000 feet below your viewline due to curvature.
lots of other examples - like all the famous canals that are 100+ miles long were built with zero adjustments for curvature, yet they never overflow. |

Are you saying that literally every map we made misrepresented the positions of any two points on the map relative to each other? How is google maps so good at getting me to my destination when it's using the same projections to do its calculations?
