Date: April 19th, 2026 11:19 PM Author: German pumo They are as hardcore as it gets towards Iran. I think their backing away from the US in the last few days is precisely because they see that Trump is desperate to make a deal with Iran and so is an unreliable partner in their anti-Iran crusade.
As far as China, I expect they do want to cozy up to them, but largely so they can influence China not to be too pro-Iran. At the end of the day, China gets a lot more oil from the Saudis and UAE than they get from Iran. |
