- Give honest answers during said inspection - so-called "refugees" who lie about their country of origin and are coached through credible fear interviews by taxpayer funded NGOs have broken the law. Likewise people who overstay visas or lied about their intentions (arrive on tourist visa and start working or fail to depart) have committed crimes.

So she had to spend a lot of money on a last minute flight just for this paperwork. I know who this woman is. And it is infuriating she's being treated like this. Thankfully her employers are being accommodating and letting her work remotely till this is sorted out. And there's plenty of similar stories emerging where people going through the immigration hoops legally and properly are still being hounded and treated badly. And these are "white" people.
I am disappointed by how all of this is being handled. What the Biden administration allowed was indefensible and frankly people should be prosecuted over it, but the Trump administration keeps tripping itself with self-defeating horrible optics and tactics and within a few months there's been a massive shift in support for deporting illegal migrants solely because of their ineptness and incompetence. Hopefully Homan taking the reign will change things for the better.
