what i'm saying is that the end goals are different and the training styles are different.

sure, everyone that goes into a gym and starts throwing weights around will get stronger, but a musclenut on roids is primarily interested in getting huge and aesthetic. strength is not their focus.

if you become technically proficient at lifting before you get on gear, your lifts will increase as you get bigger and you'll be as strong in the gym as you look like you should be. if you don't get good at lifting first, though, the effect you note can happen
