it's wild that these e-celebs had a much more massive impact on our generation of millennial gamer types in terms of hours of content consumed than someone like a letterman or leno but have little enduring legacy. there's something about new media that's different from traditional media that way. even much larger normie e-celebs like ray william johnson are completely forgotten in a way that some massive 80s talk show personality never would be.
