The only watches I’d buy in that price range would be an IWC or maybe a Panerai or Zenith, and I would just hope for them to maintain their prices. I don’t buy watches for less than $10K these days because there are few that are worth owning. A decent Panerai and a Submariner used to cost about the same, but Rolex appreciation has left other brands in the dust. Daytona's don't do it for me. I'd love a GMT Master II at MSRP, but I think i'd pass on a Daytona. I probably have enough chronographs, but my next chrono will be a Zenith. |
